In this sermon from Foundry Church, we explore Genesis 2:1–3 and the divine rhythm of rest modeled by God in the creation account. Titled “God’s Rhythm is Our Rhythm,” the message challenges cultural norms around busyness and invites us to embrace rest not as a luxury, but as a reflection of our identity in Christ. We examine the meaning of Sabbath, the difference between rest and ritual, and how intentional pauses reorient us toward God. Through Scripture, practical insights, and gospel truth, this sermon calls us to cultivate a rhythm of rest that honors our design and deepens our relationship with the Creator.
